Nearly five decades after shocking Basel show with the first mechanical “casquette” driver’s watch, AMIDA is back. It's still Swiss-made, still rebelliously innovative, and still convinced that every great leap forward begins with a stubbornly creative idea.

That break wasn’t an ending, it was a comma, an intermission forced by the Quartz Crisis that froze AMIDA’s creative momentum in mid-stride. 

In 2024, after 6 years of planning, a small crew of pioneers reclaimed the name and the patents, determined to “resume the future”.
